My old Bible is dusting worn out leather bits all over my clothing when I take it to church. I use an internet Bible most of the time these days but when I speak I take along my poor ol raggedy one with me. I have bought new ones but it just takes so long to get used to finding things in a new one that I aways end up back at the old one. So this one needs a cover so it can quit dusting bits all over my clothing. So today when I sat down for some textile jazz improv, this is what popped out of from under my iron. So we'll see how it looks once I figure out how to wrap it around with some handles or a ribbon tie or something. I don't know that I've ever made anything that looked like this before, it was FUN!

ReplyDeleteGreat projects and use of wonderful little pieces of fabric. Bet the children love to see you sneeking around their beds to see what else you can make for them. Happy, happy, pillow.
ReplyDeleteFabulous pillow! It's almost like a I Spy pillow.
ReplyDeleteLove the internet Bibles... makes it handy when you are searching for something.
This pillow makes me all happy inside! Yummy colors! And they play so nicely together!

ReplyDeleteI love your color sense! Thanks for stopping by my blog and good luck bringing home Abraham's stars. Chris @ SGS
ReplyDeleteOne year for Easter I made the girls quilted Bible covers. I just fashoined them like you would cover a book for school and put handles on them. They loved them.
